VR strategy from Age of Empires 2 developers

Hidden Path Entertainment and Oculus have announced that "Brass Tactics" will be released for Oculus Rift on 19 October 2017. The real-time strategy game is quite interesting, as it comes from the developers of "Age of Empires 2".

Hidden Path Entertainment was founded in 2006 by Jim Garbarini, Michael Austin, Mark Terrano, Dave McCoy and Jeff Pobst in Bellevue. The studio became known for the HD remake of "Age of Empires 2", among other things.  "Brass Tactics" is the developer's third game designed for VR after "Witchblood" and "Defence Grid 2"

"Brass Tactics" puts players in the role of a commander who leads his army of clockwork soldiers against his opponents on a medieval battlefield. As the commander, you can place buildings on the map and give orders to the units with intuitive hand movements. In addition to the single-player campaign, the game also offers a versus and co-operative mode. The trailer shows gameplay scenes and somehow you can see a little flash of the design of "Age of Empires 2".
