VR satire on the American gun cult

The Australian Studio Samurai Punk is currently working on the VR satire „The American Dream“which is concerned with the American gun cult. In an alternative world in the 1950s, the gun lobby has somehow managed to ensure that all everyday tasks are completed with weapons. For example, a beer bottle is conveniently opened with a shot to the top. The donut is also held with the barrel of a gun.

In „The American Dream“ wird selbst der Job am Fliessband mit der Knarre erledigt. Natürlich stehen für all diese Aufgaben verschiedene Waffen wie Gewehre und Schrotflinten zur Verfügung. Passend zum amerikanischen Unabhängigkeitstag am 4. Juli 2017 wurde ein amüsanter Trailer veröffentlicht, der ein Barbecue zeigt. Das Fleisch wird mit gezielten Schüssen gewendet. Samurai Punk, das man von „Screencheat“ oder „Fruits of a Feather“ kennt, möchte „The American Dream“ im Spätsommer 2017 für Oculus Rift, HTC Vive und PlayStation VR veröffentlichen.
