At E3 2017 in Los Angeles, Bethesda famously presented announcedthat the fantasy role-playing game "The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim" will be released for PlayStation VR in November 2017. The publisher has also subsequently confirmed that HTC Vive will also be considered. The release is scheduled for sometime in 2018. Unfortunately, Bethesda did not go into any more detail.
It is not known whether Oculus Rift will also be included at some point, although this is theoretically possible, but as ZeniMax (Bethesda's parent company) is in a legal dispute with Facebook and Oculus, such an implementation seems rather unlikely.
"Skyrim VR" contains the complete role-playing game as well as all official add-ons ("Dawnguard", "Hearthfire" and "Dragonborn"). So you can experience the complete fantasy epic in VR. The official description: "Skyrim VR lets you take on the role of Dragonblood, a hero of legend who commands the power of dragons. Whether you're battling ancient dragons or climbing across craggy mountains, Skyrim VR brings to life a virtual world that you can explore at will."
