Star Trek: Bridge Crew available from this week

For many "Trekkies" was probably a dream come true this week, because Ubisoft has released "Star Trek: Bridge Crew" for PlayStation VR, HTC Vive and Oculus Rift. In the VR game, developed by Red Storm Entertainment, you get to explore space as a member of Starfleet. "Star Trek: Bridge Crew immerses fans in the Star Trek universe and gives them the freedom to take on the role of a Starfleet officer and complete missions that will decide the fate of the ship and its crew," according to the manufacturer's description.

The game is played either cooperatively as part of the crew or solo as captain. You are directly on the bridge of the U.S.S. Aegis and set off to explore unexplored areas of space. In addition to a story campaign, "Star Trek: Bridge Crew" includes the so-called "Continuous Journey" mode. Randomly generated missions provide further hours of solo or co-op adventure aboard the U.S.S. Aegis or the legendary U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701, which has been authentically recreated from the original TV series. The current launch trailer also provides impressions.
