On Friday, 5 May, there will be a Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK) in the Toni-Areal, a workshop and an exhibition on virtual reality and immersive films will take place.
If you would like to take part in the full-day workshop for Fr. 120.-, you must register. The target group is primarily professionals from the audiovisual and interactive industry such as producers, interactive storytellers, directors, cameramen, designers or also media people from interactive media.
In the workshop, topics such as the latest developments in VR and its challenges will be discussed. Various projects from different genres will be used to show what is important in dramaturgy and narrative techniques as well as shooting and editing in VR. Works from the Geneva International Film Festival Tous Ecrans will be used as illustrations. The spotlight will also be turned on the user: What is his role? And last but not least, economic issues will be discussed with experts: What is the market like? The target group? What business models are there? A colourful programme that appeals to professionals.
The exhibition and the podium, on the other hand, are open to the general public. The exhibition shows new, innovative Swiss projects. And in the hour-long podium, Swiss politicians will discuss the possibilities and limits of funding Swiss projects in the field of digital creation.
