Virtual safari with Virry VR

If you have PlayStation VR, you can now go on a virtual safari with "Virry VR". The download is available via the PlayStation Store available. "Virry VR" is an interactive application that can also be described as a collection of stylish 360 degree videos can view. People buy "Virry VR" primarily because they want to experience animals such as lions, rhinos, zebras and many more up close.

However, you can also look forward to interactive elements that are interspersed at key moments. For example, you can attract the animals by shaking the controller and causing the meat to fall. However, this is not absolutely necessary, but it is a nice change of pace. Many of the videos also include quiz questions, because at the end of the day you are supposed to learn something and find out more about the animals.

The recordings for "Virry VR" were made in the nature reserve Lewa Downs in the north of Kenya. The nature reserve is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site. In addition to the specified videos, three cameras with live images can also be accessed. However, these are not 360-degree videos. The software is also available for iOS, unfortunately without VR.

"Virry immerses players in the lives of real animals and encourages exploration, empathy and problem solving while helping them better understand nature, conservation and the world around them," said Virry CEO Svetlana Dragayeva. The video shows impressions of "Virry VR".
