On the bridge of the Enterprise NCC-1701

The bad news comes first: Ubisoft has confirmed that "Star Trek: Bridge Crew" has been postponed again. The VR title will now only be released on 30 May 2017 for PlayStation VR, Oculus Rift and HTC Vive. The good news, however, is that the bridge of the famous U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701 from the original "Star Trek" series will be playable. In addition to the Enterprise, however, you will also be travelling with the U.S.S. Aegis, a brand new ship that was specially designed for "Star Trek: Bridge Crew".

Cooperatively with up to four crew members or solo as captain, you will be able to immerse yourself in the "Star Trek" universe. You will command the Starfleet ship, complete missions and decide the fate of the crew. The original bridge of the U.S.S. Enterprise will be playable in the "Continuous Journey" mode, which will create random missions and thus provide countless hours of solo or co-op adventures. The story, on the other hand, takes place on the U.S.S. Aegis.

We felt that especially for the 50th anniversary of Star Trek, it was important to bring some of the classic Star Trek into the game. The original U.S.S. Enterprise is such an iconic part of the franchise, it's the ship that started it all. The adventures and relationships that took place on this ship are an important part of Star Trek history. For this reason, we are determined to give players the opportunity to experience their own adventures and stories on this ship. We're really looking forward to seeing players' reactions when they first set foot on the original U.S.S. Enterprise bridge and experience Star Trek: Bridge Crew in a whole new way. We are also grateful for the patience of players as we complete the final work on the game to create the Star Trek experience we have always envisioned.
