Fox Innovation Lab, which was founded by 20th Century Fox to create various interactive experiences based on motion pictures and brands, has created a VR experience for the upcoming horror movie "Alien: Covenant" has been announced. The makers promise a terrifying journey into the depths of the alien universe, as the audience is to learn the true meaning of horror. That sounds pretty good. Ridley Scott himself is taking care of the "Alien: Covenant" VR experience as executive producer.
The VR experience for "Alien: Covenant" is to be released for all major VR systems, which is why we can assume PlayStation VR, Oculus Rift and HTC Vive. Exact details are still missing, however. A release date has also not been revealed. Since the film will be released in cinemas in May 2017, it can be assumed that a release will take place soon. By the way, Fox Innovation Lab has already developed a VR product for the film. "The Martian" brought out.
