Fast Travel Games has released the VR horror game "Wraith: The Oblivion - Afterlife" for Oculus Quest and Oculus Rift while SteamVR will follow on 25 May 2021. PlayStation VR will also be supplied this year.
"Wraith: The Oblivion - Afterlife" is a story-driven VR horror game that takes place in the "World of Darkness". In it, the player must solve the mystery of their own death and uncover dark secrets with the help of supernatural abilities. The launch trailer gets you in the mood.
The game says: "You take on the role of Ed Miller, a photographer who becomes a Wraith after dying at a mysterious séance. To discover the terrible truth behind your death, you must explore the Barclay Mansion and use your newly acquired supernatural abilities to uncover its darkest secrets. But beware, disturbed spirits known as Spectres roam the halls of the mansion. You must evade and outwit these tormented souls in order to survive."
According to the developers, "Wraith: The Oblivion - Afterlife" combines "an eerie atmosphere and a gripping story with terrifying enemies to create a true VR horror experience that is bursting with suspense and thrills." You have to rely on your sense of self-preservation to survive.
