New exhibition "Storytelling Art" in Basel works with AR

On two floors, visitors can discover KUNSTpART changing exhibitions of different artists - the new exhibition of the Basel artist Stephanie Künzli Ycaza even reveals another dimension.

The series of paintings "Storytelling Art" shows oil paintings on canvas, which allow an additional virtual experience with a special app. If you hold your smartphone or tablet over the QR code belonging to the respective artwork, the pictures begin to move. The people depicted, the background, the play of colours and light - all this comes to life and draws the visitor into a world behind the artwork. The audio track, which can also be accessed via QR code, introduces interested visitors to her works, takes them by the hand and reveals her thoughts on her art.

Unfortunately, you only have the chance to try out this somewhat different art experience for yourself until Saturday, 27 March. On Saturday 27 March from 11 am to 5 pm, the artist will also be present on site.
