JRPG-inspired MMO "Zenith", will be released for PlayStation VR alongside PC VR headsets, developer Ramen VR has announced. The release is planned for this year.
The VR MMORPG aims to combine a colourful and open world with action-adventure gameplay. "Our game features beautiful, hand-crafted environments that you can lose yourself in for hours," said Andy Tsen, CEO of Ramen VR. In addition, the developers say they have invested a lot of time in the background story and brought the environments to life with intricate details. The new trailer provides some impressions.
As for the plot, it says: "Several generations after a cataclysmic event known only as 'The Fracture', players become embroiled in a thrilling story and must battle humans and gods to prevent disaster from happening again. With the power of Essence, the magical lifeblood of all living things, players become increasingly powerful as they adventure together, encountering a colourful mix of champions and villains."
