New content for Star Wars: Squadrons

The space action "Star Wars: Squadrons", which is completely playable in VR on the PC and PlayStation 4, will be supplied with new content in November and December 2020, as Electronic Arts and Motive Studios have confirmed. Two free updates are planned.

On 25 November 2020, the first update will release a new map of a fan-favourite location, "Fostar Haven". This map will be available in both Fleet Battles and Space Battles. In addition, the update includes several new ship components, including a boost extension set, missiles, shield-penetrating prototype torpedoes and an anti-material missile gun.

The second update will be released in December 2020 and will deliver some more player-requested content, most notably two iconic starfighters, the New Republic's B-Wing and the Empire's TIE Defender. In addition, custom matches will also be introduced in Space Battles and Fleet Battles across all seven maps. These custom matches are designed to allow more players to participate in community-organised tournaments. More information is available on the official side.
