The indie studio Pixel Reef has confirmed that "Paper Beast", the VR exploration game and adventure known from PlayStation VR, will be released on 24 July 2020 for PC (Valve Index, Oculus Rift, HTC Vive and Windows Mixed Reality).
"The PC version offers an improved version of Paper Beast, in which almost all elements of the game have been expanded. In addition, the PC version supports continuous, uncompromising Move support, which we are particularly proud of. We've also put a lot of work into the rendering of the water and sand. You can now see ripples on the surface of the water, as well as the wind gliding through the sand. So now you can dive even deeper into the world of Paper Beast," says Eric Chahi, founder of Pixel Reef.
The PC version of Paper Beast offers new features:
-
Continuous Move support
-
Improved graphics
In sandbox mode, the PC VR version offers the following new features:
-
Larger sandbox environment
-
Expanded ecosystem that now offers evolving vegetation
-
A larger number of instances that offer further combination options
