Ski Jumping Pro VR is available

Publisher Kalypso Media and developer Yippee! Entertainment have released the new sports simulation "Ski Jumping Pro VR" for PlayStation VR and Steam VR, to coincide with the Ski Jumping World Cup. The launch trailer is a must-see.

Ski Jumping Pro VR lets you experience the extreme heights and dangerous jumps of professional ski jumping. You start your sporting career as a beginner in career or quick jump mode and then aim for the best competitions in the ski jumping world: The prestigious tournaments in which world champion and two-time Olympic champion Andreas Wellinger also takes part.

"Ski Jumping Pro VR" contains 32 different locations, which have been modelled on 19 international winter sports locations. According to the developers, the locations offer individual challenges, such as environmental factors and wind directions, to suit the respective location.

"When you stand at the top of the ramp in a big competition, the adrenaline rushes through your veins and you know that a good jump can take you to the top, but at the same time, even the smallest mistake can end in disaster. You get the same feeling in Ski Jumping Pro VR," says Andreas Wellinger. "The venues in Ski Jumping Pro VR are breathtaking. You can really feel the excitement of the crowd when you land because the locations are so lifelike. The jumps, the lights, the views. It's all recreated so accurately."
