Championship update for Sparc for download

CCP Games has developed "Sparc"which is available for PlayStation VR, Oculus Rift and HTC Vive, has released the so-called Championship Update. The download improves and expands the online functions of the sporty VR game.

VR users can look forward to cross-platform modes, optimised spectator mode and more. The "quick game" now offers the shortest way to dive into the action, while the "custom game" brings a full list of modes and settings to create your own matches. Those looking for a special challenge may use the new ranked mode. "Players will be added to the leaderboards once they have completed their first ten matches, after which their tier (Legend, Diamond, Gold, Silver, Bronze) as well as their position (1 to 100) within that tier will be determined from their matches," it says.

CCP Games has also revised the spectator tool. Here you can study opponents and watch custom matches. They say: "With the championship update, spectators can now join as 'headless' observers, invisible to players and other spectators alike. They can choose different camera angles to watch matches, or virtually free-flight themselves into the arena as observers." The contents of the free championship update are also presented in the trailer.
