Angry Birds VR is here

"Angry Birds", one of the first big smartphone hits, has made it into virtual reality. "Angry Birds VR: Isle of Pigs" is now available for Oculus Rift and HTC Vive. Much has remained from the original, but the perspective is now completely different.

Of course, Red, Chuck, Bomb and the Blues are back in "Angry Birds VR: Isle of Pigs". The download takes place via Oculus Home, Steam or Viveport. Playstation VR and Windows Mixed Reality are to follow at a later date. In any case, you shoot angry birds at the wobbly constructions of the nasty pigs again.

Instead of 2D, this time you are on the move from the first-person view and in 3D (see also trailer). You can even move freely around the pigs' buildings and thus fire the birds from several positions. At launch, 50 levels are available, which mean two to three hours of playtime, according to Rovio. However, "Angry Birds VR: Isle of Pigs" will be continuously expanded in the coming weeks and months.
