The co-op game "Covert" is now available for Oculus Go and Gear VR available. It was developed by White Elk Studios, which was founded by industry veterans and developers of the "God of War" series.
In "Covert" robberies are carried out together with a friend. The gameplay is asymmetrical: "While one player plays with Oculus Go in VR, the second player uses a smartphone or tablet. This allows one player to take care of the guards while the other cracks the safe on the smartphone - perfect teamwork. VR opens up completely new game mechanisms here, which Covert cleverly combines to bring people together." At least that's the official description from the manufacturer.
You take on the role of a master thief and are promised an atmosphere reminiscent of Hollywood films, as well as an immersive world full of danger and intrigue. It continues: "In collaboration with the infamous League of Thieves, your mission is to steal a mysterious artefact from an impenetrable safe in the capital's museum. Your tools are high-frequency glass breakers, ziplines and much more to crack the safe." The trailer also provides impressions and the playing time is said to be over six hours.
