"Tetris" fans will certainly have already noticed: "Tetris Effect" will be released for the PlayStation 4 on 9 November 2018, with optional support for PlayStation VR. But you can try out the puzzle game before then.
As Mark MacDonald from developer Enhance Games has announced, a demo for "Tetris Effect" will be available from 1 November 2018. The bad news is that it will only be playable until 5 November 2018. So you have to hurry to try out the puzzle game before the release. The download is available via the PlayStation Store are available. And by the way: the demo can of course be played with or without a VR headset.
The full version of "Tetris Effect" offers more than 30 levels that take place in a world that evolves according to the player's behaviour. The background elements, the sound, the special effects and the Tetris pieces themselves are all designed to pulsate, dance, glitter, make music and explode in line with the gamer's actions. Tetsuya Mizuguchi, known from games such as "Rez" and "Lumines", is responsible for the development.
