Collider Games has joined forces with David Lynch and US broadcaster Showtime have teamed up to release an interactive VR experience based on the cult TV series "Twin Peaks". A date has not been set.
"Twin Peaks VR" utilises the surreal world of David Lynch. The title includes moments and backdrops from the 18-part new series "Twin Peak: The Return" from 2017 as well as iconic moments from the original TV series.
"Twin Peaks VR" sends users to Glastonbury Grove, where they follow in the footsteps of Special Agent Dale Cooper and try to find their way back to the life they left behind. Of course, VR users will also find the entrance to the ominous "Black Lodge". The original text and familiar sound effects round off the action.
"Twin Peaks VR" is being developed for HTC Vive and Oculus Rift and will be available on Steam. A preview of the hopefully successful VR experience will be available on the Festival of Disruption in Los Angeles, which will take place on 13 and 14 October 2018.
