We Happy Few: Uncle Jack Live VR Surprisingly Released

Without prior announcement, Compulsion Games has this week released the free "We Happy Few: Uncle Jack Live VR" for PlayStation VR this week. The download is available in the PlayStation Store.

"We Happy Few: Uncle Jack Live VR" serves to promote the action adventure "We Happy Few", which was also released this week for the PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4, but without VR support.

Cord Smith, Marketing Director at Compulsion Gamesabout the VR title: "In Uncle Jack Live VR, you would have originally been given the opportunity to meet and work with the game's most famous celebrity, Wellington Wells. Your job would have been to handle and manipulate a TV camera in an episode of Uncle Jack. Instead, you now get to do much more than just watch Uncle Jack in the studio: You have the opportunity to put together an entire programme with him, including dynamic content and different outcomes."

"We Happy Few: Uncle Jack Live VR" should have had a smaller scope. So that's something to look forward to. As for the actual gameplay approach, Cord Smith said that you choose a suitable news article at each stage of the programme, which Uncle Jack then reads out live to entertain the Wellies and remind them to take their Joy. However, if you choose the wrong article, Uncle Jack will still try to sell the bad news in a positive way. However, you shouldn't do this too often because you can quickly fall out of favour.
