Bandai Namco is working on a new VR experience for the arcades. In it, fans of Godzilla get their money's worth. In the latest VR experience, it's all about putting the giant lizard in its place.
For the "Godzilla" VR experience, Bandai Namco is using HTC Vive Pro and a stationary gaming station where you sit in a helicopter with other players to fight Godzilla. A moving seat is used that provides haptic feedback and gives gamers a good shake. Two control sticks are supposed to provide realism.
The "Godzilla" game will launch later this year in Bandai Namco's VR Zone in Osaka, Japan. Later, the Shinjuku location in Tokyo will be supplied. Unfortunately, it is not yet known whether Godzilla will pay a visit to the West at some point. The trailer provides promising in-game impressions.
