For many people, fishing is very relaxing. And you will also be able to experience this in virtual reality, as the developer MetricMinds has a fishing game for HTC Vive, Oculus Rift, PlayStation VR and Windows Mixed Reality in the pipeline with "Catch & Release".

Catch & Release puts you on a beautiful mountain lake and lets you explore the surroundings, find the perfect fishing spot, and take in the relaxing environment at your own pace. The backdrop to your fishing trip is dense forest, mountains, cliffs and reedy shores." That all sounds pretty good.

What's more, you can also switch on the radio or skip stones across the water. Other interactive objects are also available. Of course, you also have to find the right bait and the perfect fishing spot to hook the big fish. "Catch & Release" was designed from the ground up for VR controllers so that you get really good feedback. "Catch & Release" will be released via Steam and the Oculus Store on 7 June 2018 for HTC Vive, Oculus Rift and Windows Mixed Reality. PlayStation VR will also be supplied later in the summer.
