VR shooter Far Home on Oculus Rift & HTC Vive

British developer DevCubeStudio has announced that the VR shooter "Far Home", which is also the studio's debut project, will be released on 5 April 2018 via the Steam-Early-Access will be released for Oculus Rift and HTC Vive.

Including a co-op mode, "Far Home" uses VR technology to transport players directly to the year 2301, where Earth is on the brink of a global catastrophe. The game promises an action-packed first-person shooter that delivers a unique and team-based science fiction experience. The latest trailer offers gameplay impressions.

At Early Access players can choose from two individual character classes to explore different planets. A total of six character classes will be available in the final version. According to the developers, a number of unusual inhabitants are waiting in the expeditions to either support the adventurers or put a lot of obstacles in their way.
