The new advanced training course to become an "Augmented/Virtual Reality Marketing Manager" offers direct added value for anyone who already works in marketing and would like to deepen their knowledge of the use of VR/AR in marketing. The HSB Academy in Leipzig offers this innovative distance learning course with a combination of self-study and attendance phases.
Learning and training in virtual and augmented reality environments is no longer a dream of the future. But how, where and when do we learn how to use AR and VR and, above all, how to utilise their potential in the business sector?
When it comes to content production, programming and visualisation, i.e. more technical topics, various training modules or workshops have been available for some time, for example at the Zurich University of the Arts, ETH or the Rapperswil University of Applied Sciences. Simulators are also being developed in many projects there, thus expanding existing modules in a meaningful way. However, there has not yet been any real training in an area that is quite important for VR and AR, although there are already numerous examples of applications.
Bold marketing managers are wanted
"Augmented and virtual reality are a completely new way of enabling customers and business partners from all sectors to experience and understand products and services virtually. However, there is still a lack of courageous marketing managers and content producers who bring the technology to life and add value for the user," says the website of the HSB Academy. The school is probably the first in the German-speaking world to offer a comprehensive training programme in AR and VR marketing.
The course is designed to be very practically orientated and includes various modules. These include an introduction to the technical aspects of hardware and software, as well as classic topics from the marketing sector linked to AR/VR and legal aspects. The course is therefore aimed at advertising and marketing managers as well as freelancers who would like to gain a broad overview of the topic of VR/AR as well as the possible applications in marketing and how they work. If the hype continues to develop and persist, such a certificate will certainly be an asset when looking for a job.
