Alien Zoo in VR

Dreamscape Immersive is currently presenting the mixed reality attraction "Alien Zoo" in its arcade in Los Angeles. Up to six visitors can experience a family-friendly ride at the same time.

Visitors can experience an extraterrestrial world of plants and animals in virtual reality, which takes around 12 minutes. However, the entire procedure, including dressing and undressing and the briefing, takes 40 minutes. So you should bring some time with you. Visitors carry a rucksack on their back containing the necessary hardware. Oculus Rift is also included. Sensors are also attached to the hands and shoes.

The adventurers then see themselves as VR avatars as they traverse the zoo on a flying platform. They feel the headwind and smell the forest or caves. Heat and humidity are also simulated. Some of the animals can even be touched and interactions are also available, where you can, for example, fend off a predator by throwing objects at it. The first trial run lasts until 2 March 2018 and can be viewed on the official side you can find more information.
