3rd Eye Studios has confirmed that the sci-fi thriller "Downward Spiral: Horus Station" will be released for PC and PlayStation 4 in spring 2018. PlayStation VR, Oculus Touch and HTC Vive will be supported.
"Downward Spiral: Horus Station" is a zero-gravity space adventure that takes place on a space station. The space station has been abandoned by the crew and you must solve the mystery behind it. You need wits and ingenuity as you battle unknown dangers, either alone or with a partner in co-operative mode. The equipment used to maintain the station must be used as weapons and tools to survive.
The title should provide a variety of options for players to customise their own experience. For example, any type of combat can be completely excluded in order to experience the story without enemies. If the campaign is not enough for you, you can play both PvP and PvE modes in the eight-player multiplayer, including "Deathmatch", "Horde" and "Survival".
"We were inspired by classics like 2001: A Space Odyssey, Twin Peaks and There Will be Blood, and Downward Spiral: Horus Station offers players mysterious and thought-provoking sci-fi in space," said Gregory Louden, lead designer at the 3rd Eye Studios.
