"Out of Ammo", which is already available for HTC Vive and Oculus Rift, will also be released for PlayStation VR next year, as Zen Studios has announced. The PC original was published by RocketWerkz, the company of the "Day Z" creator Dean Hall.
"Out of Ammo" is a tower defence game with a large strategic element and first-person shooter elements. In the title, you have to build a base, position troops, give them orders and stop waves of enemies. You can slip directly into the skin of the soldiers and control them yourself. A large variety of unit types and weapons should also impress. In other modes, there is even no base building or strategy. You are then travelling alone as a soldier, which promises variety.
Akos Gyorkei, Community Manager at Zen Studios, said: "Be the strategist or the soldier! This PlayStation VR experience will demand everything from you as you fight for survival. Defend your base, survive, shoot, take cover and - of course - reload so you're not... Out of Ammo!"
