American Airlines' (AA) new augmented reality app is designed to help passengers find their way around the airport.
American Airlines (AA) is one of the largest airlines in the US with thousands of passengers every day. With a newly introduced augmented reality app, developed by Groove Jones and Locus Labs, passengers will be able to find their way through the hustle and bustle on the ground more easily. The ARKit offers a solution that shows guests the way to check-in, security check or gate by means of arrows and also provides recommendations for various restaurants.
Groove Jones has put two videos on Youtube. The first is a trailer that shows how the app works and the second clip shows a real test.
