In November 2017 "Justice League" is finally coming to cinemas. Warner Bros. also wants to promote the superhero film in virtual reality, which is why a suitable VR experience will be released.
You can already get a foretaste of the VR experience now, as a free version has been released for iOS and Android. Cardboard demo published. The whole thing is called "Justice League VR: Join the League - Gillette Edition". You can take on the roles of Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Flash and Cyborg, but the fun only lasts 90 seconds each. However, a greatly expanded version will be presented at New York Comic-Con (5 to 8 October 2017). This will then be available exclusively in IMAX theatres in New York and Los Angeles for a fortnight from mid-November 2017.
The game and experience will be released for HTC Vive, Oculus Rift, Samsung Gear VR, Google Daydream and PlayStation VR in December 2017. The Home version ("Justice League VR: The Complete Experience") will offer additional game modes and extended missions. Depending on the platform, roomscale tracking and motion controllers are supported. You can race as Batman in the Batmobile, fight parademons as Wonder Woman, take on a creature from the depths of the sea as Aquaman, defuse bombs as Flash and disable drones as Cyborg. Other characters from the DC universe could even be added later.
