AR Game for The Walking Dead

After "Pokémon Go" took a real hit last year, the Augmented reality hype another AR game based on a well-known licence is now in development: "The Walking Dead".

The US TV channel AMC, on which the TV series is shown, has announced the augmented reality game "The Walking Dead: Our World" together with the Finnish developer studio Next Games. The mobile game will be released for iOS and Android. However, no date has yet been set. As befits an AR game, virtual objects are projected into reality via the camera and screen of the smartphone (or tablet).

In "The Walking Dead: Our World", you naturally have to fight against the undead. You will be supported by familiar characters such as Rick, Daryl and Michonne. The first trailer looks really great, but you shouldn't expect the finished game to be quite as cool. Nevertheless, you can look forward to the finished product.
