Getting the attention of freshly graduated apprentices at their graduation ceremony is almost as difficult as reinventing the washing drum. That's why the agency Line Communications designed and realised a virtual reality game for Miele.
Apprenticeship graduates from technical professions are extremely sought-after employees on the labour market. This makes it all the more important for a brand to position itself as an attractive employer at an early stage.
Miele therefore came up with a special attraction at this year's apprenticeship ceremony for the electrical professions in Winterthur: The Zurich-based agency Miele created an exclusive Line Communications developed a unique virtual reality game tailored to the target group.
Teamwork in virtual reality
The game involves positioning coloured building blocks in a grid in the virtual Miele environment according to instructions from a colleague. A game sequence lasts around 20 seconds. Since there is no gravity, even large objects can be lifted and moved with surprising ease in virtual reality - an impressive experience.
Reaching the goal with teamwork and state-of-the-art technology - this was the message of the game and at the same time are essential components in the everyday work of Miele service technicians. Miele will be remembered as a brand that provided the young participants with an exceptional virtual experience on this important day.
