Realistic scenarios can be experienced in VR. This is not only suitable for games or films, you can also recreate educational situations. The "Earthquake Simulator VR", which features a walk-in 3D environment, is designed to train behaviour in the event of an earthquake. Preparations and the most important survival techniques are shown.
To start the VR experience, you first have to put together an emergency kit. This includes food, water, medicine and a radio. Then the earthquake starts. This is ensured by a corresponding physics simulation.
After the earthquake, a fire even breaks out in the house and you have to get to safety. The "Earthquake Simulator VR" was developed by Lindero Edutainment and is particularly suitable for families. The VR experience is available at Steam available for HTC Vive. Other platforms are currently not supported.
