Gearbox hires entire graduating class for VR project

Gearbox Software, which is known for the successful "Borderlands" series, "Duke Nukem Forever" and "Battleborn", has announced that it has recruited the entire graduating class of the renowned Texas University of Technology. Southern Methodist University which consists of 16 students. The SMU Guildhall offers a recognised training programme in the field of game development and Gearbox Software has already hired graduates from the institution in the past.

The 16 students are expected to graduate on 20 May 2017. They are to form a new team at Gearbox Software to develop a VR project, although there is no information on this yet. Can we possibly look forward to a "Borderlands VR"? In any case, the university students have already gained experience in the development of VR games. In March 2017, they released the VR puzzle game, which was praised by critics "Mouse Playhouse" for the HTC Vive. In it, you have to clear a path for mice to reach the cheese (see video).
