Oculus will be at the E3 2017 will unfortunately not be represented with its own stand in Los Angeles, as has been announced. Oculus has been present at the important video games trade fair since 2014. In 2016, the VR manufacturer even set up one of the largest and most impressive trade fair stands to showcase Oculus Touch and associated games. It has not been stated why Oculus is staying away from E3 2017, but one can assume that there might simply be too little on show. Oculus Touch is now available and new hardware cannot yet be presented.
But just because Oculus doesn't have its own stand doesn't mean that we won't see anything from Oculus Rift at E3. Partners and developers will certainly be presenting their games for the VR goggles. Oculus has also made it clear that a number of announcements are still planned for this year. So the absence from Los Angeles does not mean that the VR experts have no more news to offer for a long time. E3 takes place from 13 to 15 June 2017. Some of the various manufacturers' press conferences will begin earlier.
