Groundrush update for EVE: Valkyrie with new content

Later today (11 April 2017), CCP Games will release the free "Groundrush" update for "EVE: Valkyrie" on PlayStation VR. Owners of the VR shooter can look forward to a new map called "Solitude", which, according to the developers, represents a radical departure from the previous space battlegrounds, as you fight on or near the surface of a planet (see trailer).

However, the "Groundrush" update offers even more. The co-op mode will also be expanded and made available for the two game modes "Control" and "Carrier Attack". Andrew Willans, the lead game designer of "EVE: Valkyrie", had the following to say about the new animation feature: "Apart from making our virtual world far more believable and realistic, the animations will allow pilots to celebrate a victory or show compassion in defeat."

The man adds: "What's more, our next round of weekend wormholes brings even wackier and wilder new gameplay! We've added tons of new content, from tricky environments to exotic mechanics, there's plenty to discover." The update also delivers changes to the Valkyrie League Alpha, improves the training modules, optimises the multiplayer game lists and fixes numerous bugs and stability issues. The download should therefore be worthwhile.
