The anime/manga classic "Ghost in the Shell" was made into a Hollywood film and is already in cinemas with Scarlett Johansson. A free VR experience has been released to go with it, which is available for Oculus Rift, Samung Gear VR and alternatively as a 360-degree video at Facebook is available. This is a project by Oculus Studios, which was developed in cooperation with Rewind, Here Be Dragons, Paramount and Dreamworks.
In the VR experience for "Ghost in the Shell", it is possible to experience some of the film's key moments from Major Kusanagi's perspective. The VR connection fits in very well with the theme of the film anyway, which is why Oculus Studios and the film's creators certainly didn't have to think about it for very long. Speaking of VR: Scarlett Johansson visited Jimmy Fallon's late-night show to promote the film. There she was able to prove her talent at "Virtual Reality Pictionary" (see video).
