Publisher Headup Games and developer N-Gon Entertainment have announced "Viking Rage", a new type of tower defence VR experience for the HTC Vive. In "Viking Rage", you have to defend your own fortress from onrushing hordes of worgs, trolls and even dragons from a first-person perspective. You can see what this looks like in the latest trailer.
"Whether with a taut bow, crossbow or razor-sharp battle axe in both hands, you will fight to the death on the green plains, in ice caves and volcanic mountains. Put on the HTC Vive and the horned helmet and become a Viking legend in this stylish, low-poly tower defence experience," say the makers in the press release.
Headup Games and N-Gon Entertainment promise that, thanks to virtual reality, you will be right in the middle of the action, which can get quite fast-paced in the course of the game. In addition, the unusual worlds, crazy weapons and all kinds of enemies are set to impress. "Viking Rage" will be released on 28 April 2017 via Steam published.
