Theseus & the Greek myth of the Minotaur

Forge Reply has now announced a new VR project. It is about "Theseus" and the adaptation of a timeless myth. The title picks up on the material of the Minotaur legend and presents the plot as a gritty adventure, naturally using "state-of-the-art virtual reality technology".

The developers describe "Theseus" in the press release as follows: "Theseus, a reinterpretation of the classic myth, presents itself as a mature action adventure. The adaptation takes a cinematic virtual reality approach to exploring the labyrinth and depicting the fearsome Minotaur while uncovering further secrets.

"Theseus" is due to be launched this year. However, Forge Reply has not yet provided any information on the platforms. PlayStation VR, HTC Vive and Oculus Rift are certainly the most likely. Otherwise, you can expect a gloomy 360 degree video on "Theseus", which gives a first impression of the oppressive atmosphere. Further information can also be found at official site.
