On the occasion of Saturday's PSX, another interesting title was presented for PlayStation VR. StarBlood Arena is a futuristic shooter. The player can move completely freely in space with his spaceship. The interesting thing about the game is that you can play with two players in cooperative mode or with up to 8 players at the same time. Several tournaments take place throughout the Galaxy. The player fights for fame and honour or simply for bare survival. Successful battles lead to the unlocking of special modifications and adaptations to the spaceship. Of course, the online leaderboard is not to be missed.
There are nine characters to play. Each has different skills and tactics that can be used. Four different multiplayer modes will be included in the game. In one, you have to score some kind of goals, or in another, you have to fend off waves of alien attacks. In addition, there will be familiar modes such as Deathmatch and Team Deathmatch. The game will also include single player modes.
StarBlood Alpha sounds like an exciting and action-packed space shooter that is minimally reminiscent of Overwatch. But that should not be seen as a negative here. The trailer already looks very interesting. The game is scheduled for release in March.
