Valve Index: Coronavirus causes production problems

After Valve in November 2019 "Half-Life: Alyx", the popularity of Valve Index rose quite sharply, which is why the VR headset is still available in the Most regions sold out is. The coronavirus has not improved the situation.

Valve's statement: "With Half-Life: Alyx launching on 23 March, we are working hard to meet the demand for Valve Index and want to assure everyone that Index systems will be available for purchase ahead of the game's launch. However, the global coronavirus health crisis has impacted our production plans and we will have far fewer units for sale in the coming months than originally planned. Our entire team is currently working hard to maximise availability."

Valve has also launched the minimum system requirements for "Half-Life: Alyx" have been revealed. Although these are not excessively high, it remains to be seen how well the first-person shooter can be played with this hardware.
