Trailer for 360° documentary about Eminem released

Known for high-quality 360° films, "Felix & Paul Studios" are premiering their latest 360° work at the Sundance Film Festival this year. The 21-minute documentary called "Marshall From Detroit" is dedicated to Marshall Mathers, better known as Eminem. The teaser has now been released.

The film, titled Marshall From Detroit and directed by Caleb Slain, premiered late a few days ago at the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah. Over 21 minutes, the film follows Marshall Mathers on a nighttime car ride through the streets of Detroit. Eminem gives the viewer a personal, contemplative tour of the city that gave him everything: the rapper became famous in this city. His hometown, in turn, is known for building cars, Motown Records and - in recent years - also for its poverty.

The comprehensive film was produced by Felix & Paul Studios, who specialise in creating "unparalleled virtual reality", augmented reality and mixed reality experiences for a global audience. They have previously experimented with techniques such as stop-motion video and time-lapse recording. Now they want to take the viewer on a journey through the dark streets of Detroit with Slim Shady - an equally bizarre and inventive premise.
