VR documentary on Resident Evil 7

Capcom recently launched a behind-the-scenes video series for "Resident Evil 7 Biohazard", which can optionally be played through with PlayStation VR. The third part of the video series focuses on the VR version of the horror game. In "Hell's Kitchen", as the Video lead VR engineer Kazuhiro Takaharo and producer Masachika Kawata talk about how they came up with the ideas for the VR features after years of research and experimentation.

It is also about the infamous "Kitchen" VR demo, which triggered a real hype around "Resident Evil 7 Biohazard". Capcom describes the video content as follows: "They talk about the challenges they had to overcome to make VR horror scenes not just scary, but really scary, and how they had to manage communication to make the VR quality transportable, but without ruining surprises."

As the video provides some interesting insights (be sure to turn on YouTube subtitles), it is well worth a look. "Resident Evil 7 Biohazard" has been available for the PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 since January 2017. However, it can only be played in VR on the PS4.
