Mega Arena opens first virtual reality arena in Zurich

On Saturday, 15 April 2017, the Virtual Reality Arena the first multi-player VR arena in the city of Zurich at Brandschenkestrasse 178 . The provider promises: Gaming like never before!

Exclusive game with high-end VR equipment

The new VR Arena offers an exclusive virtual reality experience for up to four players. The company promises the best high-end VR equipment currently available and a shooter game specially programmed for the VR Arena called Survivor.

In VR, the players must complete a challenge on an alien planet on which they are stranded together. In order to advance in the high score, they have to cooperate together as well as play against each other. An event lasts 20 minutes and the pure playing time is 10 minutes.

Marco Marti from the Mega Arena says: "It's a whole new gaming experience that fits in perfectly with our laser tag and paintball offerings. He also says that the unique gaming experience gives visitors a first impression of what is possible in the virtual world.

The game can be played from the age of 14 and costs CHF 24 per game. On Wednesdays between 14:00 and 17:00, there is a discount and one round costs only CHF 19. Further locations in Basel, Bern and Lucerne are being planned.

Smells like good competition for the VR Center in Dietlikon. No 1 April joke!
