Gioco VR come PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds

„PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds“ sta riscuotendo un enorme successo su PC, battendo un record dopo l'altro. Non sorprende quindi che anche altri sviluppatori stiano prendendo spunto da questo gioco. „Battle Royale“-Genre di lavoro. Si arriva anche alla realtà virtuale.

Oneiric Entertainment hat jetzt quasi eine VR-Version von „PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds“ angekündigt. Dabei handelt es sich um „Virtual Battlegrounds“che sarà giocabile con HTC Vive e Oculus Rift il prossimo anno (presumibilmente in versione beta ad accesso anticipato).

Das erste Gameplay-Video, das übrigens aus einem sehr frühen Stadium der Entwicklung stammt, zeigt, dass „Virtual Battlegrounds“ eigentlich alles hat, was in ein „Battle Royale“-Spiel gehört. Da VR-Headsets allerdings noch nicht so verbreitet sind, werden zunächst nur 16 Spieler unterstützt, so der Creative Director Sean Pinnock, doch später könnten es mehr werden.
