Der Entwickler Squanch Games hat das völlig abgedrehte „Trover Saves the Universe“ für PlayStation 4 und PlayStation VR veröffentlicht. Die PC version HTC Vive and Oculus Rift are supported.
The sci-fi comedy adventure is about saving kidnapped dogs and the universe, among other things. Especially promising is the fact that Justin Roiland is involved. This is the co-creator of the popular animated series „Rick and Morty“which is why humour is provided.
Allein die offizielle Beschreibung des Titels fällt dezent bekloppt aus: „Deine Hunde wurden vom schnäbligen Verrückten Glorkon entführt. Der hat sich die zwei in seine Augenhöhlen gestopft und nutzt ihre Lebensessenz, um den Kosmos zu zerstören. Du verbündest dich mit Trover, einem kleinen lila Augenhöhlen-Monster. Der mag’s nicht, dass er arbeiten und den Kosmos retten soll. Dich mag er auch nicht so und ich auch nicht (nur ’n Scherz, du bist toll). Nur du und Trover könnt in diesem bizarren Comedy-Abenteuer von Justin Roiland alles zum Guten wenden!“
Squanch Games promises a comedy adventure full of fights, puzzles and morally questionable decisions. So it can happen that the best intentions cause very bad consequences. Of course, alien planets and bizarre characters are not to be missed. The VR headset is optional, by the way, because you can also play normally on the screen.
