First virtual village tour for new residents

The web and advertising agency interpunkt realised a virtual tour of the village for the welcome package for newcomers to the municipality of Suhr. This allows new residents to experience the most beautiful places in the municipality from the comfort of their own homes.

 The municipality of Suhr has updated its welcome brochure. New residents now receive virtual reality glasses instead of a printed brochure. Via the link www.suhr360.ch the most beautiful places in Suhr can be inspected virtually. At the same time, a friendly female voice tells you everything you need to know about the viewpoint. The tour starts at the Suhrerchopf viewpoint and leads via the school grounds to the public facilities such as the KEBA, the Brügglifeld, the Hofmatten and the swimming pool. The local recreation area, cultural sites and the village centre are also presented.

 With the virtual village tour, the municipality of Suhr wants to familiarise its new arrivals with their new home in a simple and fun way. It is also intended to encourage residents to visit the village in real life. "We are very proud to be the first municipality to present such a progressive welcome package," says Beatrice Räber, municipal clerk.
