100th anniversary of Motorex is celebrated with AR

The agency Takondi AG from Zurich was commissioned to implement an interactive factory tour with augmented reality for Motorex on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the traditional Swiss company.

How do you make a tour of the plant of Switzerland's largest independent fresh oil refining company exciting? This was the question asked by those responsible for Motorex's 100th anniversary. Together with the Zurich agency Takondi AG, they came to the conclusion that an augmented reality app was just the thing.

Takondi AG not only provided Motorex with the augmented reality content management system TARTT, including the freely available TARTT app, but also accompanied the interactive factory tour project from A to Z.

The interactive surfaces measuring up to 2 x 3 metres were then placed at various stations in the impressive Motorex factory at the anniversary event on 24 June 2017. A large number of visitors made use of the interactive tour of the company and were surprised by the animated videos or the e-learning content.

Due to the great interest, Motorex plans to continue using the produced content for trade fairs and future events.
