Space shooter Everspace gets VR support

Rockfish Games will finally release the roguelike space shooter "Everspace", which is based on Epic Games' Unreal Engine 4, on 26 May 2017 in version 1.0 on Steam, GOG.com, at Nvidia GeForce Now, in the Windows 10 Store and for Xbox One. Until now, the game was only available in Early Access. In Germany, Austria and Switzerland, a Steelbox is also available for stationary retail.

The full version will also include VR support in the game. This applies to HTC Vive and Oculus Rift. Furthermore, the campaign will be made playable with flashbacks and cutscenes with a complete German voiceover. The highlight of the campaign is a completely new boss fight in the fully reworked final sector. The new trailer provides an insight into the space battles at 60 frames per second. "Everspace" is one of the most successful Crowdfunding games from Germany. More than 670,000 euros were raised.
