Developer Happy Giant has teamed up with publisher Big Sugar to announce that the VR adventure "Sam & Max: This Time It's Virtual" will be released first for the Oculus Quest platform in June 2021.
But it won't stop at Oculus Quest. Later in the year, "Sam & Max: This Time It's Virtual" will also be available via SteamVR and Viveport Infinity to VR users. The implementation for PlayStation VR, on the other hand, is planned for early 2022. To celebrate the release news, a new gameplay video has been made available.
In the new "Sam & Max: This Time It's Virtual", you are recruited and trained by the iconic hero duo Sam and Max to become part of the "Freelance Police" and help fight evil. The creator of the series, Steve Purcell, has even been engaged as a consultant for gameplay, art design and story, which is sure to please fans.
