VR puzzle adventure A Fisherman's Tale to be released in January 2019

Vertigo Games, Innerspace and the TV channel Arte have announced that the VR puzzle adventure "A Fisherman's Tale" will be released in January 2019, for PlayStation VR, HTC Vive, Oculus Rift and Windows Mixed Reality.

The main character is a doll in the shape of a fisherman. The game world consists of lighthouses that are interlocked according to the matryoshka principle. The trailer provides suitable impressions. According to the makers, "A Fisherman's Tale" is a story about breaking through illusions and finding the truth.

In any case, the official description sounds very interesting: "Based on the mathematical foundation of recursion, Innerspace has created a unique gameplay mechanic that is only possible in this form in VR. In principle, A Fisherman's Tale is a co-op title, with the subtle difference that you don't work with other players, but with different iterations of your own character. The player is able to manipulate their own weird reality to thus solve multi-dimensional puzzles that drive the exciting story."
